Mr. Hitchcock offers more than 40 years of legal experience representing clients in private practice. His areas of expertise include estate planning, complex estate tax planning, estates and trusts, and real estate. Mr. Hitchcock is a frequent lecturer regarding topics such as the role of the real estate agent and broker in residential real estate transactions. He is also a former adjunct professor at William Mitchell College of Law in Saint Paul. In 1985, Mr. Hitchcock successfully argued before the Minnesota Supreme Court in the case In Re Estate of Beecham, 378 NW2d 800, Minn. 1985. The Beecham case is a seminal case in Minnesota law regarding implied contracts for personal health care services provided to family members. For over 40 years, Mr. Hitchcock has provided quality legal advice to thousands of clients. His friendly, confident approach to the practice of law resulted in his being named Business Person of the Year in 1998 by the Payne-Arcade Business Association. Mr. Hitchcock resides in Saint Paul with his wife, Judy. He has three children and six grandchildren.
