Gene E. Adkins

Gene Adkins has over 33 years of experience representing clients primarily in the areas of probate and estate administration, estate planning, real estate, and business formation.

In his probate and estate administration practice, Gene represents both large complex and small estates with the same care, sensitivity, and attention to detail. He handles all aspects of estate administration, including informal and formal probate, special administration, summary assignment, determination of descent proceedings, ancillary probate, and trust administration.

Reflecting the firm’s comprehensive approach to estate planning, Gene provides personalized, individually tailored advice in planning for death and incapacity. His approach includes an emphasis on wills, revocable trusts, support trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.

In Gene’s real estate and business formation practice, he represents clients in the sale, purchase, leasing, and clearing of title objections in residential and commercial real estate transactions. His work includes preparing and reviewing all types of business and real estate documents, including purchase agreements, deeds, leases, easements, mortgages, financing agreements, and closing documents.

In addition to his practice, Gene is a frequent guest speaker on topics of probate and estate administration, estate planning, and real estate matters.

Gene has three stepchildren and resides in Lino Lakes, Minnesota, with his wife.
